TAURUX grew up in Tumwater, Washington, and music has been part of his life for as long as he can remember. He started making songs when he was 13, singing with his sisters or trying to create his own ideas. Even back then he felt like he had something special, and as he got older he realized music was not just something he liked doing. It was something he was meant for.
He says he has always been an entertainer, and that is clear in the way he talks about his craft. His inspiration to become an artist came from knowing he had a talent he wanted to use. He never tried to force a certain image or sound. He simply followed what felt real to him.
TAURUX does not box himself into one genre. He loves R&B, hip hop, pop, and melodic rap, and he lets each style show up in his music in its own way. That versatility is a big part of what makes him stand out. He is not chasing a trend. He is being himself.
He also knows his way around instruments. He is self taught on guitar, piano, and drums, and even played violin for a while. He says he only has a basic understanding of each one, but that curiosity is what helped him learn how to build songs from the inside out.
Growing up, he was influenced by artists like Michael Jackson and Celine Dion. He also says his mom played a huge role in shaping who he is. Those inspirations helped him understand not only how to sound good but how to perform and connect.
So far, TAURUX has released two singles and one album. When he looks back on his journey, the moment that stands out most is not one specific achievement. It is the growth. It is seeing himself improve, pushing his sound, and taking every step to get better at what he loves.
He is nowhere near slowing down. He is always working on new music and has a set of singles already lined up. The next big moment in his career is his album titled Eclipse, releasing November 25. He is excited for people to hear it because it represents everything he has been building toward.
