Inven Global’s October 29 report names Matt Manfredi and Phil Hay as the writers. Crooked Highway’s Scott Derrickson, C. Robert Cargill and Vince Cheng are producing.
The confirmed development team is not yet accompanied by casting or a release calendar. There is no announced date for audiences to see the movie.
The original game centers on a stranded space freighter and its five-person crew. Developer Wrong Organ uses the setting for a psychological horror story about a group confronting dwindling resources.

October 29 brought the game to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox on PC and Game Pass. That expansion is separate from the film deal, but places the original within reach of a broader console audience.
