BTS is returning to the Canadian stage this weekend with two sold-out Toronto stadium concerts, ending an eight-year wait for fans north of the border.

BTS will bring its massive “ARIRANG” world tour to Toronto for two nights at Rogers Stadium on Saturday, August 22, and Sunday, August 23. The sold-out shows are expected to draw roughly 100,000 fans across the weekend and mark the group’s first performances in Canada since a three-night run in Hamilton in 2018, according to Rolling Stone Canada.

The Toronto dates also close a long gap that was supposed to end years earlier. BTS had planned Canadian concerts in 2020 before the pandemic forced those shows to be canceled, followed by the group’s extended pause while RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook completed South Korea’s mandatory military service.

Toronto has been leaning into the group’s arrival well before showtime. A section of Yonge Street has been temporarily co-named “BTS Boulevard”, while an official merchandise pop-up and the Toronto Korean Festival are adding to a weekend that is expected to bring a major influx of ARMY into North York.

Both concerts will use the 360-degree, in-the-round production built for the tour, allowing the seven members to perform from a stage designed to reach fans around the stadium. The shows support ARIRANG, BTS’ fifth studio album and first full-group project following their military-service era, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 earlier this year.

The Toronto stop is the only Canadian date on the current international run, making the two Rogers Stadium nights especially significant for local fans. The group’s 2026 tour has already moved through South Korea, Japan, the United States, Mexico and Europe, with stadium dates continuing across North America after Toronto.

For BTS, the weekend represents another major chapter in a comeback built around all seven members performing together again. For Canadian ARMY, August 22 and 23 finally deliver the stadium return that has been delayed since 2020, this time with both Toronto dates already sold out.
