While his initial motivation to start making music was influenced by the allure of fame and the lifestyle of successful artists, his perspective has evolved significantly over the years. Now, his passion for music is driven by artistic control and self-expression, both as a vocalist and a producer.
Levispill’s sound gravitates toward a mix of Trap, Cloud Rap, and Ambient Electronic genres. Known for his unique blend of complex synth melodies and hard-hitting 808 trap drums, he carefully crafts beats that mirror his evolving artistry. As a vocalist, his auto-tune-heavy style is reminiscent of artists like Pi’erre Bourne and Lil Uzi Vert, bringing a melodic and spaced-out feel to his tracks.
A versatile musician, Levispill’s journey began with the guitar, which he played for most of his life before diving into production. He’s developed a diverse discography, with six projects to his name, including two albums, Synthetics and Synthetics Deluxe, both co-produced with his long-time collaborator imnotindigo. One of Levispill’s most memorable career moments happened by chance. He recalls going to a show his brother told him about, an unexpected event that became a pivotal moment in his career. There, he met a variety of artists, leading to new collaborations and helping his career take off.
Currently, Levispill is wrapping up a new album, Plugged in K3YZ, a collaborative effort with his friend highK3YZ. The project, which took over four months to complete, features beats entirely produced, mixed, and mastered by Levispill himself, showcasing his growth as a producer. At the same time, he’s working on an EP with MAGSMP3 and preparing his first solo tape, solidifying his position as a multifaceted artist in the industry.
In addition to these major projects, Levispill has several singles on the way, featuring a wide range of artists. As he continues to expand his discography and network with fellow musicians, his trajectory is only looking upward, with the potential to break further into the music industry.
