Cage the Elephant have announced Dying in Reverse for February 5, 2027, pairing the album news with the release of “Make It Easy.”
Cage the Elephant’s next album now has a confirmed date. The band announced Dying in Reverse on November 5 alongside “Make It Easy,” with its official website listing a February 5, 2027 release. The project follows 2024’s Neon Pill.
The album will be the group’s first for Big Loud Rock. According to JamBase’s announcement coverage, Justin Raisen and his brother Jeremiah Raisen, known as SADPONY, produced the record. It introduces a new label chapter without changing the band at the center of it.
Listeners had already encountered part of the project before the album announcement. “Beaches in Tennessee” and the title track preceded “Make It Easy,” giving the rollout multiple points of entry rather than making the new single its first introduction.
“Make It Easy” also reached television before its studio release, with a performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. The band’s official single link now connects listeners to the recording, including the YouTube version below.
The Apple Music album listing confirms a 12-track set. The sequence opens with “Influence” and closes with “Wear the Daylight,” placing “Make It Easy” second. Other announced titles include “Cherry Cola” and “Leave the Light On.”
For now, “Make It Easy” is available to stream while Dying in Reverse is open for preorders. The announcement gives fans a firm date and a broader view of the record, with the earlier songs and new single forming the available preview ahead of February.
