Huncho Markk Is Leveling Up And Leaving The Old Name Behind

From the streets of Riverdale, Georgia, Huncho Markk is stepping into his own. You might’ve known him as UTMR PlugHunxho, but he’s moving different now. With growth comes change, and the name switch is part of the elevation. Now under the management of Dillon Cash at Swaggertown Records / Colossal Records, Huncho’s ready to take things to a whole new level.

Born in Atlanta on July 21, 2003, Marquavious Bohannon was raised around music. His parents always kept soulful records playing—artists like Mint Condition, Erykah Badu, and others that brought real feeling into the home. That foundation stayed with him, but as he got older, Huncho started to relate to the sounds of Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, and Future—artists who blended melody, bars, and emotion.

In 2021, he made his first move into music with “Pain In My Cup”, a record that showed fans his raw side. It caught some attention online and gave him a reason to keep pushing. That hunger eventually led to his first live performance in 2024, where he performed “Blessing Me” alongside Dvybez at a local charity fest. For a first time on stage, he moved like he belonged there.

Later that year, on October 4, he dropped his debut mixtape “Humble Youngin.” The tape told his story—his struggles, his thoughts, and the journey he’s still walking. With each track, fans got a better sense of who Huncho really is: an artist with heart, hunger, and a message.

Rebranding as Huncho Markk was deeper than just a name change. It’s about growth, focus, and stepping away from the past. He’s not chasing quick views—he’s working for something real. His dream? To perform in front of crowds that already know the lyrics, word for word.

Huncho Markk is moving with purpose now. No gimmicks. No shortcuts. Just real music, real stories, and real progression.
