HeadHuncho Amir’s latest release connects two rising Southern voices while advancing a career shaped by Dallas, community involvement, and years of independent groundwork.
For HeadHuncho Amir, “New Dallas” represents more than a musical slogan. It reflects his determination to give his city a stronger national presence while remaining invested in the community that raised him. That mission continues with “Confidential”, his new single featuring Florida rapper Luh Tyler.
The collaboration brings two naturally confident performers into the same space. Amir leads with the focused, straight-talking approach that has become central to his music, while Tyler contributes the relaxed charisma behind his growing profile. Their contrasting deliveries give “Confidential” its character without making the pairing feel forced.
The single follows Amir’s June debut album, All My Intentions Real, a 16-track project that generated millions of streams and broadened his audience. Its key releases include “Not Average” featuring Bunna B, “Dallas Bizness” with Montana 700, Zillionaire Doe and Hustleman Quise, and “Hidden Gem,” which received a visual dedicated to the late Zee the Wizard.
Amir’s relationship with music began long before his recent success. Raised in East Dallas with two older sisters, he was introduced to the business through his father, who owned a record label. Amir recorded his first song in a friend’s closet during the 10th grade and was funding his own studio sessions and creating music videos by his senior year.
That early commitment developed into a steady catalog that includes Just Getting Started, VOTE, Mr. 2700, AIN NUN BIGGER, STILL AIN NUN BIGGER and 50 Year Run. “MOTIVATE THE CITY” surpassed 1.6 million Spotify streams, while Amir’s collaborations have connected him with artists including Hunxho, 1900Rugrat, Peezy and Lil Jairmy. His progress also earned him Billboard’s “Rookie of the Month” recognition in October 2025 and a deal with 300 Entertainment.
Music is only one part of the foundation Amir is building. Shortly before releasing “Confidential,” he hosted his second annual Motivate The Students Back 2 School event in Dallas, reinforcing the community-centered values behind his movement. With another new record now in circulation and more material being prepared, Amir is positioning his hometown purpose at the center of his continued rise.
