Jennifer Lopez is pairing a new dance track with the first vinyl release of her 2011 album, giving its 15th anniversary a present-day addition.
Jennifer Lopez is adding “Proof of Love” to the first vinyl editions of LOVE?. The November release revisits her seventh studio album in three formats, connecting the anniversary of its original 2011 arrival with newly recorded material.
The standard edition includes 12 tracks, with “Proof of Love” joining songs such as “On the Floor,” “I’m Into You” and “Papi.” Universal Music Canada’s announcement confirms that this is the album’s first vinyl pressing rather than another reissue of an existing LP.
A direct-to-consumer deluxe edition expands the selection to 17 songs across two translucent royal-blue records. Its additions include “Hypnotico,” “Everybody’s Girl,” “Charge Me Up,” “Take Care” and “On the Floor (Ven a Bailar),” while a separate BILT-exclusive version uses cherry-red vinyl.
Lopez has described the new song in terms of the emotions that accompany a loved one leaving, with sadness understood as evidence of a meaningful bond. Reports about her explanation connect that idea to her children’s transition toward leaving home, rather than framing the song only as another romantic breakup narrative.
“Proof of Love” is being presented as an upbeat dance song, allowing that emotional premise to sit inside a celebratory setting. Placing it within LOVE? brings a new perspective to an album already associated with relationships, personal change and dance-floor singles.
The vinyl campaign also precedes The JLo Show: Live in Las Vegas, scheduled for November 26 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS and Paramount+. An extended version is planned for the streaming platform, giving Lopez’s November calendar both a catalog release and a televised performance showcase.
