Tye Cooper Sets Up His Next Chapter With ‘Cooper Codes’ After Collaborative EP ‘SU & TYE’

Providence rapper Tye Cooper is building toward his next solo project, Cooper Codes, following a run of collaborations that has continued to expand his presence in independent hip-hop.

Tye Cooper has spent years developing a career rooted in lyricism, storytelling and independence. The Providence, Rhode Island artist draws inspiration from a wide range of voices, including Jay-Z, Black Thought, Queen Latifah, Jill Scott, Marsha Ambrosius and Kendrick Lamar, influences that have helped shape an approach centered on substance without losing sight of replay value.
