Making a step back into the limelight, Jon Canem is back with his latest single ‘End Of Time’, his first since ‘Heaven’ in 2024. Blending nostalgic eighties toplines with a punchy, modern production, the release looks to reassert him as an exciting talent.
Crossing the floor between pop and R&B, ‘End of Time’ offers a colourful, heartfelt approach to a love that has run its course. Complete with slick melodies and relatable lyrics, Canem reinforces himself as a vibrant talent. Clocking in at just over three minutes, the single wears its heart on its sleeve, leaving catchy moments that linger long after the song is over.
Speaking about the influences behind the track, Canem explains, “I wrote this song about a break-up and how it affects you, because true love is hard to let go, no matter what the circumstances are.”
Hailing from Cheltenham, UK, Jon Canem (pronounced Can-em) is a singer-songwriter with a knack for pushing the boundaries of contemporary music-making. From a young age, Jon has followed the careers of many legendary artists, including George Michael, in which his tribute, ‘Flawless’, has enjoyed success around the UK. Releasing his debut single, ‘A Broken Dream’ in 2017, Canem has moved through the ranks as a rising star. Enjoying success in Europe, he signed with German record label DMN Records.
