Brooklyn-born artist Tyrin returns with Blue Hour, a six-track EP that masterfully blends indie-pop, rock, and hip-hop into a deeply introspective experience. The project explores themes of heartbreak, resilience, and self-discovery, drawing listeners into the emotional depth of its creator’s transformative four-year journey.

Known for his genre-defying artistry, Tyrin builds on his pop-punk and hip-hop roots, crafting a unique sound that balances raw vulnerability with moments of empowerment. The EP’s title perfectly encapsulates its emotional core, representing the quiet reflection after heartbreak when one begins to rebuild and move forward.

Each track offers a poignant snapshot of Tyrin’s journey, honed through years of personal growth and musical experimentation. The making of Blue Hour saw Tyrin channel his emotions into countless demos before narrowing them down to the most resonant pieces. “I finally took a step back, listened to all the demos, and started to feel out which songs fit my blue hour,” Tyrin explains.

The EP’s sound is as diverse as its influences, combining the emotional charge of early pop-punk with the storytelling rhythms of hip-hop. The instrumentation, enriched by Tyrin’s collaboration with his band, brings a dynamic energy to tracks that feel deeply personal yet universally relatable.

With Blue Hour, Tyrin proves his ability to craft music that not only resonates but also inspires. The EP is a heartfelt reminder of the strength found in vulnerability and the beauty of rebuilding after loss—a must-listen for anyone navigating their own blue hour.
