“Timestop” pairs a young producer’s expanding electronic catalog with his sister’s first appearance on a song.
Four months into releasing music, B-Kas has already moved from individual tracks to a debut album and now a sibling collaboration. The 20-year-old New York producer’s latest single, “Timestop,” features his sister EMKAS on vocals. For her, the release is a beginning: it is her first song.
Their roles are clearly defined, with B-Kas producing and EMKAS providing the vocal performance. The collaboration brings together tech house and stutter house, locating the release within the dance-oriented side of his work. It also adds a new collaborator to a catalog that has developed quickly since his first releases.
B-Kas’s wider interests stretch across melodic dubstep, Afro house, dance, synthpop and experimental electronica, alongside tech house. That range gives context to the direction of “Timestop” without limiting his work to a single electronic style. His first album, Cyc1e, arrived in August 2026, establishing a full-length release within those opening months.
He has also worked with existing material through remixes of Drake and Tory Lanez. B-Kas says their labels directly approved those remixes for distribution. With “Timestop,” the focus returns to his own release and a vocalist making her debut alongside her brother.
As of November 1, B-Kas reported 2.5 million streams across platforms since beginning to release music four months earlier. He identified “Off my mind” as a standout in that run, with 712,000 SoundCloud streams, and said “Timestop” had passed 50,000 streams during its first two days. These are milestones reported by the producer at that point in the release cycle, not continuously updated totals.
The new single offers a direct starting point for following both artists: listen to “Timestop” on Spotify, then explore B-Kas’s other releases through his artist profile or SoundCloud. The collaboration adds EMKAS’s first vocal credit to a chapter that already includes an album, remixes and a growing body of original electronic music.
