Mecha 8 represents the third solo rap album by California rapper 8BitJ, delving into themes of dissociation and personal growth over the span of the last decade. Through unfiltered lyrics, soulful production, and experimental rap styles, the album serves as a personal reflection of growth, described by 8BitJ as “A Modern Day Soul Album.”
