KOKOMATIC has already built a career around bringing people together. As an artist, entrepreneur, event manager, and emcee, his work has stretched across cultures and continents. Now, with the release of “Can I,” he is turning that extensive entertainment experience toward one of his deepest passions: music.
Born in Benin City, Nigeria, with Benin and Igbo roots, and raised in Graz, Austria, KOKOMATIC has developed a distinctly international perspective. His journey has taken him through entertainment scenes across Europe, the United States, and the United Kingdom, giving him an understanding of music and nightlife that extends well beyond the recording studio.
His background is particularly connected to the world of live entertainment. Growing up within the Asoro family of Benin City, KOKOMATIC was introduced to an environment where entertainment and culture played an important role. What began with music projects eventually expanded into event management and emceeing, allowing him to develop his skills as a performer and a connector of people.
That experience ultimately led to the creation of Big Time Ballers Entertainment, the multicultural entertainment company founded by KOKOMATIC. As CEO and Founder, he has developed the brand around music, culture, festivals, nightlife, and community-driven experiences, creating opportunities for people from different backgrounds to share the same space.
Now he is bringing that same philosophy into his artistry.
“Can I” represents an important moment in KOKOMATIC’s musical development. The release arrives as he continues to fully embrace music as a central part of his creative identity, combining his passion for performance with the cultural influences and experiences accumulated throughout his career.
There is a natural connection between his work as an entrepreneur and his work as an artist. Years spent in front of audiences, organizing events, hosting experiences, and working within multicultural entertainment have given KOKOMATIC an instinct for creating moments that people remember.
That live experience will be on display in Vienna on September 26, 2026, when KOKOMATIC takes the stage at SOFT!, presented by 001 Game Changer x Kiss Ent.
Hosted at Cella Vie Aviation Club and Lounge, the event begins at 10 PM and brings together the city’s Afrobeats, hip hop, and dancehall audience. DJ Dilo and DJ Joe will also provide music throughout the night.
The appearance is part of an active run of upcoming events for KOKOMATIC.
On October 3, 2026, he is scheduled for Shayo: Nigeria Independence Day Party at Passauer Platz 2, 1010 Wien. One week later, on October 10, he will take part in the Boat Cruise Raft Party (Afro/Latino) at City Beach, Graz am Mur.
The calendar extends into the following year with a scheduled appearance at Summer Jam Vol.2 Festival on June 5, 2027, at Volksgarten Park, Graz.
For an artist who has already spent years creating platforms for other performers and audiences, this next stage represents a meaningful shift. KOKOMATIC is now placing his own music at the forefront while continuing to build the larger entertainment vision that has defined his career.
His story is ultimately one of movement and connection. Nigeria gave him his cultural foundation. Austria became an important part of his upbringing. His work across international entertainment spaces expanded his perspective. Now, music gives him another avenue to bring those influences together.
With “Can I,” KOKOMATIC is stepping into a new era with the experience, cultural perspective, and entrepreneurial drive to make it his own.
