A fresh “Dune: Part Three” teaser offers another ominous look at Denis Villeneuve’s trilogy finale, putting Paul Atreides, Chani and a mysterious Spacing Guild figure back in the spotlight.
“Dune: Part Three” has unveiled new teaser footage as Warner Bros. ramps up the final stretch of promotion for Denis Villeneuve’s sci-fi trilogy closer. The brief new spot arrives alongside another push for premium-format ticket sales, giving audiences fresh images from the December release without revealing too much of the story.
The 30-second teaser gives Timothée Chalamet’s Paul Atreides and Zendaya’s Chani more screen time while also flashing Jason Momoa’s returning Duncan Idaho. One of its biggest reveals is a look at Edric, a Spacing Guild Navigator from Frank Herbert’s “Dune Messiah,” the novel serving as the primary basis for the third film.
As The Playlist reports, the footage arrives as another round of IMAX tickets goes on sale, continuing Warner Bros. and IMAX’s event-scale rollout for the film. The teaser leans heavily into foreboding imagery, with Florence Pugh’s Princess Irulan asking the Navigator, “Tell me what lies ahead,” before receiving the stark reply: “The end.”

The new material follows the full trailer released earlier this summer and keeps the focus on the consequences of Paul’s rise to power. Villeneuve has positioned the movie as the conclusion to his run of “Dune” adaptations, with the story moving beyond the triumphs of “Dune: Part Two” and into the political and personal fallout surrounding Paul’s rule.
“Dune: Part Three” is based on Herbert’s 1969 novel “Dune Messiah” and brings back a large ensemble that includes Chalamet, Zendaya, Momoa, Pugh, Rebecca Ferguson, Javier Bardem and Anya Taylor-Joy. Robert Pattinson also joins the franchise, while Villeneuve returns as director and co-writer for what has been billed as his final chapter in the saga.
The film is set to open in theaters on December 18, 2026, with select premium-format screenings beginning earlier in the week. With its latest teaser emphasizing prophecy, war and an increasingly dangerous future for House Atreides, the final installment is continuing to build toward one of the year’s biggest theatrical releases.
