INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis rapper and artist Gen5deuce is continuing to make his voice heard through emotionally driven lyrics, raw storytelling and music rooted in personal experience. Known for blending drill, melodic records and reflective storytelling, the rising artist is building a growing audience drawn to both his authenticity and vulnerability.
“People should read about me because I’m an authentic artist,” Gen5deuce said. “Everything I rap about is a reflection of me and what I’ve been through.”
Representing Indianapolis, Indiana, Gen5deuce says part of what makes his story unique is coming from a city that is not often nationally recognized for viral music or mainstream industry attention. Despite that, he has steadily built momentum through consistency and a deeply personal approach to songwriting.

Gen5deuce has already gained visibility across major hip-hop and entertainment platforms, including features and viral exposure through SayCheeseTV, Hit The Stage and IndyOnDaMap. “People have noticed my art form because it’s real,” he said.

“I use music as a healing mechanism,” he said. “It helps me let things go and speak my mind about everything I’ve been through.”
That emotional honesty is expected to take center stage on his upcoming album, I SEEN IT, scheduled for release in mid-July. The project will feature more than 13 tracks and showcase a range of sounds, including drill records, high-energy tracks and melodic storytelling songs.

Looking toward the future, Gen5deuce says his biggest goal is not just recognition, but emotional impact. He hopes his music reaches listeners who may never meet him personally but still find comfort, understanding or vulnerability through his songs.
“My biggest dream is having an emotional connection with people I’ll never know,” he said. “I want people to feel understood through my music.”
He also envisions elevating his artistry to a level where his dedication to music and authenticity continue to separate him from others in the industry.

Through this latest press push, Gen5deuce hopes fans and new listeners gain a deeper understanding of who he is beyond the music.
“A big part of being an artist is people wanting to know more about you,” he said. “I just want people to connect with who I am.”
