He named himself Zacky Manic as a declaration of that full emotional spectrum. His rock resists any single label on purpose, shaped less by subgenre rules and more by whatever he was actually living through at the time of writing. A song born from grief sounds nothing like one born from defiance, and that contrast is the entire point. He is candid about something most artists avoid saying out loud: he knows he is not special.
