New Jersey’s own Justin Calderon is pressing on with his creative career; in this latest installment, the artist brings us “Promised,” a testament to his trials and tribulations.

“As I’ve grown into my sound and taken the time to understand myself, I’ve chosen to move cautiously and purposefully,” Justin said.  “It’s a reminder to stay aware of the world I’m in and never take life for granted.”

The 973 native is influenced by East Coast hip-hop and alternative rock and combines those sonic loves with a keen eye for cinematography and filmmaking  On top of all that, Justin writes, produces and engineers his own music, proving that while some artists may find that unsuitable, this creator is different.

“I spent time learning the skills required to be self-sufficient,” he stated.  “I work alone.”

Next up for the one-man band that is Justin Calderon?  He’s simply going to continue testing himself and his creative abilities, pushing himself to new limits and building a strong foundation.
