Sydney Opera House’s On The Steps series has completed its 2026 lineup, pairing twelve nights of concerts with support for the people who make live music possible.
Suki Waterhouse’s December 8 performance is part of the newly finalized On The Steps program, which runs November 28 through December 12 on the Sydney Opera House Forecourt. The full-season announcement brings her previously announced Australian tour opener into a broader lineup of domestic and international acts.
Australian Crawl open the series on November 28, followed by Pub Choir the next evening. The Opera House’s official program then moves through Rise Against, James Blake, DMA’S, Wolf Alice, Dizzee Rascal and Dylan Gossett before Waterhouse takes the stage.
Waterhouse’s appearance launches the Australian leg of her Loveland tour, supporting the album released in July. Her subsequent itinerary takes her to Brisbane on December 9, Adelaide on December 11 and Melbourne on December 12, making Sydney the first of four announced Australian stops.
The venue’s event listing places her show outdoors on the Forecourt, with gates opening at 6 p.m. and the performance scheduled for 7 p.m. Her supporting act has not yet been announced. The location gives the tour’s opening Australian night a different setting from its following indoor engagements.
All proceeds from official series merchandise will go to Support Act. As The Music Network reports, the renewed partnership also lets ticket buyers make voluntary donations, with that option extended to Live Nation shows across Australia during November. The charity assists music workers facing financial hardship and personal crises.
Spacey Jane’s December 10 and 11 performances and Dizzee Rascal’s December 5 show are already sold out, while The Amity Affliction closes the series on December 12. Organizers expect more than 50,000 attendees across the expanded season, bringing the fundraising initiative in front of audiences spanning indie pop, alternative rock, country and heavier music.
