New faces enter Maple Brook as Brittany Snow and Malin Akerman return for another round of secrets and shifting loyalties.
The Hunting Wives Season 2 trailer makes the distance between Sophie and Margo look difficult to maintain. The new preview, released October 20, brings Brittany Snow and Malin Akerman back to Maple Brook ahead of the season’s November 26 return on Netflix.
The season begins with the two women estranged, but unresolved secrets and new adversaries draw them together again. That setup keeps their relationship at the center of the drama while widening the group of people who can disrupt it.
The official trailer introduction identifies three newcomers: John Stamos as Chase Brylan, Dale Dickey as Zelda Moffitt and Kim Matula as Nadia Kelly. Their arrival adds new players to a town already shaped by competing interests and dangerous loyalties.
The preview mixes intimacy with threats and another round of violence in the fictional Texas community. Rather than resolving where Sophie and Margo stand, it emphasizes how attraction and distrust continue to coexist between them.
Rebecca Cutter returns as creator, executive producer and showrunner, with the series produced by Lionsgate Television. Returning regulars alongside Snow and Akerman include Dermot Mulroney, Jaime Ray Newman, Evan Jonigkeit, George Ferrier, Karen Rodriguez and Hunter Emery.
The show has already received a third-season order, though the immediate focus is this new look at Season 2. The first season is streaming now, giving viewers time to revisit Maple Brook before the November 26 premiere.
