Based on the name alone, Just Be Nice should be considered a positive force to be reconciled with. With a moniker that serves as a mantra to treat everyone with kindness for fans and himself, this is an artist with their head on straight.
However, it wasn’t always like that; the Orange County, California native’s latest single “Breathe” focuses on a harrowing time for the young creative, when his girlfriend nearly died due to a collapsed lung.
“This song is from my point of view as I would be by her side while she recovered in bed, learning how to breathe again,” Just Be Nice said.
The ethereal track, produced by EAV and engineered by SAM IV, is the first in a series of collaborations between the three. According to Just Be Nice himself, they have worked on “some songs for the ladies” and also have merchandise and other fun surprises lined up for new fans.
And other than dropping bubbly bangers, it’s boots-on-the-ground, old-school in-person networking for this positive star.
“I am continuously working on my sound and going to events around California,” Just Be Nice said. “Be it open mics, cultural festivals or networking events, I love the opportunity to meet and collaborate with more artists.”
