Khalid is finally bringing his live show to India, six years after an earlier run was called off, with three December dates now locked in across the country.

Khalid will make his long-awaited India debut this December as part of his It’s Always Summer Somewhere Tour. The R&B and pop star is set to perform in Gurugram on December 13, 2026, Bengaluru on December 15 and Mumbai on December 17, giving Indian fans their first chance to see him headline shows in the country.

The three-city run opens at HUDA Gymkhana Club in Gurugram before moving to Bhartiya Mall of Bengaluru and closing at NESCO Center, Hall 6 in Mumbai. According to Rolling Stone India, the dates are being curated and promoted by SkillBox and Red FM, with tickets going on sale through SkillBox on August 21 at 12 p.m. IST.

The announcement closes a chapter that has been open since 2020, when Khalid was originally scheduled to perform in India on his Free Spirit tour. Those shows were canceled amid the COVID-19 pandemic, leaving the singer’s planned debut on hold until this newly announced December run.

The India concerts arrive as part of a wider international stretch for Khalid, whose 2026 It’s Always Summer Somewhere Tour began with a North American run earlier this year before expanding into additional global markets. The tour follows his 2025 album after the sun goes down, his fourth studio LP and the latest entry in a catalog that also includes American Teen, Free Spirit and Sincere.

Khalid’s rise began with the breakout success of “Location” and “Young Dumb & Broke,” both of which helped establish him as one of the defining new voices in contemporary R&B during the late 2010s. His catalog has since expanded through hits such as “Better” and “Talk,” along with high-profile collaborations including “Lovely” with Billie Eilish, “Love Lies” with Normani and “Eastside” with Benny Blanco and Halsey.

For Indian fans, the December dates turn a repeatedly delayed first visit into a full three-city headline run. With Gurugram, Bengaluru and Mumbai all included, Khalid’s India debut will now serve as one of the closing stretches of his 2026 touring year.
