Stockton, CA — Visionary chef, filmmaker, and creative force Christopher Shortt continues to redefine what it means to be a modern multi-hyphenate artist. A true pioneer of 420-friendly cooking shows, Shortt has captured audiences nationwide with his originality, passion, and unstoppable work ethic.

With a style he describes as “a blend of Tex-Mex and diner food,” Shortt blends comfort, creativity, and culture into every dish he makes. “It’s either food I grew up eating or dishes I always wanted to learn,” he explains. Often inspired by his favorite cannabis strains — including PKC (Pure Kush x Wedding Crasher) and Bubblegum Sherbert — Christopher transforms his kitchen into a stage for innovation, authenticity, and connection.

Beyond the kitchen, Shortt’s creative reach extends into music and film. Recently, he directed two new videos for The Smoke Sqodd — “My Bloodys” and “Smoking” ft. NFE Mook — both released under Westernized Music Group and available now on YouTube. He’s also collaborated with rising artist Fly Amigo on “Push It to the Limit” from the Thugs on Wheels album, with two more visuals, “The Streets” and “Fly By,” on the way.

Known for his cinematic camera work, Shortt’s ability to capture natural lighting, dramatic lens flares, and crisp 4K visuals has earned comparisons to directors Martin Scorsese and Michael Bay, two of his personal inspirations.

“He has a rare gift,” said a close collaborator. “He brings a movie-quality eye to everything he films — no fancy setups, just pure skill and vision.”

Shortt’s connections in the creative and cannabis communities continue to grow. He’s partnered with Ziggy’s Smoke Shop in Stockton and the iconic Paramount Imports in San Jose, California — two pillars of West Coast smoke culture. He’s also collaborating with top-tier professionals like DJ Gooodface and Matthew Fletcher, a respected music engineer from Silicon Valley.

A relentless worker, Shortt has designed over a hundred flyers, often producing up to five unique layouts per day, and maintains a growing reputation as one of California’s most versatile media creators. His journey into the creative arts began through his love of hip hop, performing under the name Spatr1, a nod to his graffiti roots. His early music remains available on SoundCloud and ReverbNation, preserving the beginnings of his artistic evolution.

Outside of work, his greatest inspiration remains his son, Christopher Shortt Jr. (CJ). “He’s the reason behind it all,” Shortt says. “But beyond that, I just want to make people smile, entertain them, and share my love for creativity with the world.”

Currently, Christopher hosts “The Coming Up Shortt Takeover Show” on SoundCloud (@ishouldbefired) and is partnering with The 360 Radio and Sacramento’s own Boss Lady McYeee, a powerhouse in the Northern California media scene.

Through all his ventures — from cannabis-infused cuisine to groundbreaking video work — Christopher Shortt continues to push boundaries and redefine success on his own terms.

“I’ve got to be like my brothers Baba-T, Big Bola, and Yp3k, and my second mom Mrs. Sanyalou — be the difference. Be the greatest. Be extraordinary. Be Fly Forever,” says Shortt.

With his growing influence and endless creativity, it’s clear that Christopher Shortt’s journey is only beginning — and he’s taking 420 culture, California flavor, and independent artistry to the next level.
