June 20, 2025 — Equipped CHE, the raw voice out of the trenches, returns with back-to-back releases that pull no punches: “This Feeling,” which dropped June 20th, and the vibed-out summer anthem “SouthSide,” released just two weeks prior. Both tracks showcase a fearless storyteller using his voice to climb from the depths of his past into the promise of something greater.

With “This Feeling,” CHE captures the urgency of a man pushing against pressure, refusing to fold. “My willpower to push forward against the grain inspired this track,” he explains, “combined with the urge to escape impoverished environments.” It’s not just music—it’s survival.

Then comes the switch-up. “SouthSide” trades grit for groove, a smooth and melodic ride through southern living. “It’s the perfect summer song,” says CHE, who created it with that warm, top-down energy in mind.

Still, no matter the beat or tone, one thing stays consistent: the streets. “My flow on both tracks speaks for itself,” CHE says. “I’m always talkin’ bout the streets because most of my witt came from hard times.” From the hunger to make it out to the resilience it takes to stay grounded, both singles mirror his evolution from struggle to strength.

When asked which track fans will connect with more, CHE points to “SouthSide”: “It has more of a riding, vibing melody to it,” he explains. But for those who listen deeper, both songs offer a piece of his life in motion—past losses, present hustle, and future greatness.

“I never approach a song the same way,” CHE shares. “Production-wise I try to keep things sonically consistent for the project, but I still like to switch it up.” That commitment to both structure and spontaneity is evident in how each single feels like its own moment, yet still connected by one man’s truth.

And he’s not slowing down anytime soon. “Mixtapes and music videos all summer,” CHE confirms. “Next is live performances and interviews—major and underground. You gotta stay tuned for the next.”

With this kind of momentum, Equipped CHE is more than ready. He’s equipped for everything.
