Diving into the themes and influences embedded in the single, James dives in, “My relationship with my soon-to-be wife is a big source of inspiration for me as a songwriter. From the very beginning of our relationship, I was flooded with so many vivid visions of what the future had in store for us: personal growth, our future homes, children, everything! This song is my expression of those powerful feelings and visions that perfectly completed a musical composition written by Tim Pacheco & myself that lived in our catalogue as a promising instrumental for over 3 years prior.”
Trevy James is a songwriter and recording artist hailing from San Diego, California. Forging his craft with a stylistic blend of roots reggae, lovers rock, and vintage R&B, he is known for his sheer versatility across the stage. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, Trevy has been at the forefront of San Diego’s reggae and soul communities, performing with the bands Psydecar and Heaping Teaspoon as well as a solo artist in his own right. His unique approach to music-making channels love, positivity, and passion into a heartfelt and impactful sound.
