It wasn’t until the 9th grade that Spenser ventured into the realm of poetry, a creative outlet that would later evolve into a full-fledged commitment to music. Making a decisive move in 2013, he embraced music as not just a passion but as a lifelong career. The year 2016 saw the release of his debut mixtape, “The Lone Star Fatal Beginnings,” an ambitious venture met with a spectrum of reviews, yet pivotal for Spenser’s artistic evolution.

Post-mixtape, Spenser found a guiding force in mentor and producer Grant Klinger. Their collaborative efforts opened Spenser’s eyes to the intricate layers of the music industry, prompting a personal exploration into music production. This newfound passion led him to Full Sail University’s Music Production Program in 2018 after careful consideration and a conversation with his girlfriend.

During this period, Spenser secured an internship with the esteemed R&B group, “The Force MD‘s,” under the mentorship of Khalil Lundy. The experience not only refined Spenser‘s skills as an audio engineer and music producer but also provided invaluable insights into the industry’s nuances.

Following a hiatus from public releases, Spenser delved into the world of audio production, honing his craft behind closed doors. In 2020, an unexpected turn of events, a wrongful termination from a recording studio position in Brooklyn, became a catalyst for Spenser to invest more time in beatmaking and elevate his skills as an artist and music producer.

The subsequent year marked a significant chapter in Spenser’s journey. In 2021, he assumed the role of recording studio manager at “The Force MD‘s” studio, using the challenges presented by the pandemic as opportunities for growth. The fruits of this labor materialized in the form of the 2022 EP, “The Foreshadow,” featuring collaborations with AnthonyxJohn and Gendi, a testament to Spenser’s evolving artistry.

2023 witnessed Spenser’s triumphant return to solo releases, with the single “Who You Laying With (Freestyle)” featuring TOKA. As the year concluded, he dropped the impactful “FATAL FURY,” a track inspired by 90s East Coast Boom Bap, paying homage to video games like Capcom vs. SNK 2 and Street Fighter 3.

Spenser‘s influences, ranging from Notorious BIG and JAY Z to Kendrick Lamar and Tyler The Creator, reflect the diverse palette from which he draws inspiration.
