Kid Kodein was born on May 20th 1999 in Indianola, Mississippi. While still young Kodein learned he had a passion for music. At the age of 8 Kodein’s father moved to Georgia and this is where Kodein would spend most of his summers.

At only 13 years old Kodein was already writing songs, producing beats, and recording himself. It would be at the age of 19 that Kid Kodein would drop his debut mixtape. This release was a major breakthrough for both Kodein and his city; it was clear that he had a natural talent.

Currently Kid Kodein is on fire; his new song is “LIT” literally. Already gaining thousands of streams, the new single “LIT” is a major hit on social media. The official music video for “LIT” is dropping this Friday, shot at Atlanta’s famous Purple Shell.
