Rising British alternative-pop artist Nicole Dash Jones continues carving out a distinct creative lane with the release of her emotionally immersive new single, “11:05,” available now on all streaming platforms. Now based in Los Angeles, the emerging artist blends dreamy alt-pop textures, cinematic vulnerability, and nostalgic internet-era storytelling into a release that feels both deeply personal and culturally resonant.
Built around themes of obsession, emotional fixation, hyper-femininity, and longing, “11:05” captures the late-night emotional spiral of replaying conversations, romanticizing moments, and holding onto someone long after reason says to let go. Wrapped in hypnotic melodies, textured guitars, and atmospheric production, the single delivers an intimate listening experience that feels hauntingly familiar for anyone who has ever loved too intensely.
Produced alongside multi-platinum producer Mher Filian and A&R Tim Jeanneret at Bloom Music, “11:05” balances restraint and emotional intensity with remarkable precision. The production allows Nicole’s songwriting to remain at the forefront while surrounding the listener with immersive alternative-pop textures and subtle R&B influences. Hints of vintage Prince-inspired sensuality can be heard throughout the record, particularly in its layered vocals and emotionally charged atmosphere.
“What’s an artist without her muse?” Nicole says. “I’ve always been fascinated by the way girls turn heartbreak into identity. Sometimes obsession feels embarrassing, but sometimes it creates the most beautiful things.”
That emotional honesty has become one of Nicole Dash Jones’ defining strengths as an artist. Long before “11:05,” she explored vulnerability and emotional chaos through music, previously co-writing and performing on the Billboard #1 dance record “Heartbreak” with M’Black. That same cinematic emotional depth now takes center stage in her solo work, but with an even more intimate and immersive creative vision.
Visually and sonically, “11:05” draws inspiration from the emotional language of the early internet era. Rather than simply revisiting Y2K aesthetics, Nicole transforms them into something emotionally current. The single channels Tumblr-era femininity, soft-focus bedroom visuals, late-night phone calls, emotional oversharing, and the kind of online vulnerability that once felt raw and authentic before curated perfection dominated digital culture.

“I wanted ‘11:05’ to feel like the early internet, when being emotional online still felt honest,” Nicole explains. “Everything about the record naturally pulled from that era: the visuals, the sound, the hyper-femininity, the vulnerability.”
That nostalgic world extends seamlessly into the artwork surrounding the release. Featuring pink bedroom walls, retro telephones, sunset lighting, vintage posters, and emotionally charged feminine imagery, the visual identity behind “11:05” strengthens Nicole’s growing reputation as an artist who builds entire emotional universes around her music rather than simply releasing songs.
During the songwriting process, Nicole revisited creative influences ranging from Bob Dylan to Prince, pulling inspiration from Dylan’s storytelling and Prince’s textured instrumentation and sensual atmosphere. The result is a record that feels layered, emotionally consuming, and artistically refined without losing its vulnerability.
Since relocating to Los Angeles, Nicole’s artistry has continued evolving both emotionally and creatively. The shift in environment appears to have unlocked a more reflective and expansive side of her songwriting, something that can be felt throughout “11:05.”
“Los Angeles made my inner world feel more colourful,” Nicole says. “Before, my music came from a place of ‘poor me,’ but now it feels more like ‘why me?’ more reflective than reactive.”
Beyond music, Nicole Dash Jones is also expanding her creative universe into beauty and lifestyle culture. In June, she will officially launch DASH Los Angeles, her beauty line debuting with depuff eye patches inspired by emotional vulnerability, sleepless nights, and modern girlhood aesthetics. The launch further reinforces her ability to merge music, visuals, emotion, and identity into one cohesive artistic world.
Fans will not have to wait long for more music either. Nicole’s next release, “Minty,” arrives in June and continues her exploration of hyper-feminine nostalgia, internet-era storytelling, and emotional intimacy. Looking ahead, the artist is preparing for the release of her debut full-length album in December 2026, followed by a US tour launching in Los Angeles in April 2027.
With “11:05,” Nicole Dash Jones further establishes herself as one of alternative pop’s most compelling emerging voices. Blending dreamy intimacy, cinematic nostalgia, emotional vulnerability, and internet-native storytelling, she is creating music that feels immersive, emotionally honest, and entirely her own.
