Making a return to the airwaves, meta-punk powerhouse N I T E F I S H returns with his latest EP Permaculture Heaven. Following the acclaimed release of a string of singles earlier in the summer, the release of the EP marks N I T E F I S H’s first body of work since 2023’s Hellfire.exe.
Permaculture Heaven offers cathartic authenticity with a dynamic pathway filled with a distorted, emphatic rhythm. Combining a metamodern approach to electro-punk songwriting, N I T E F I S H demonstrates his unique brand of music-making as he enthuses the airwaves with relentless noise and melodic synthesis. An unforgiving percussion punctuates the EP, paving the way for dance-enthused rhythms and powerfully ambiguous toplines.
“Through these 7 tracks, I want to challenge myself and listeners to find a coexistence between how things are and how things can be, the chaotic digital feed and our ability to find new forms of collective presence, where the dance floor is a revolutionary act. Inspired by the solarpunk movement’s emphasis on art as a platform to reimagine a green degrowth society, this EP is a dream of using club music to reimagine a better world beyond the confines of our dystopian reality.”
N I T E F I S H is a groundbreaking songwriter and producer blending lush hyperpop with aggressive punk rap, entwined with a healthy distorted edge. Renowned for his energetic live shows, N I T E F I S H has taken his unique brand of alt-music across Europe and Scandinavia as he cements himself as the artist of tomorrow. Declared ‘the future of punk’ by Sebastian Murphy of Viagra Boys, N I T E F I S H is making waves in the industry as he gears up to release his latest EP Permaculture Heaven.
As well as the EP, N I T E F I S H is gearing up to play his first ever London performance in the Windmill on November 16th, tickets for that gig can be found here.
