“Cold Shoulder” Adds Don Toliver to Drake and Yebba’s Collaborative History

“Cold Shoulder” brings Drake, Yebba and Don Toliver together for a new HABIBTI (FOMO) collaboration about a relationship that refuses to settle.

Yebba reunites with Drake as Don Toliver joins the pair on a newly released song built around separation and the wish to reconnect.

“Yebba‘s Heartbreak” and “DIE TRYING” already connect Drake and Yebba’s catalogs. Now “Cold Shoulder” adds another shared recording, this time with Don Toliver, as part of the October 2 release of HABIBTI (FOMO).

The three artists meet around a relationship that has become emotionally distant. Drake’s refrain asks for another chance, while Yebba returns to the same appeal, making the wish for reconciliation a recurring part of the song’s writing.

Toliver approaches the situation through loneliness and an inability to decide whom to blame. That uncertainty matters to the story: the narrator still wants closeness without arriving at a clear explanation for what went wrong, and the repeated refrain never supplies an easy resolution.

Before its streaming debut, “Cold Shoulder” appeared in Drake’s Fear of Missing Out film. Its accompanying segment was shot at Canada’s Wonderland, according to Rolling Stone Canada, giving this account of romantic friction an amusement-park backdrop.

Yebba’s place in the lineup distinguishes the track from “Solar Eclipse,” the other newly released Drake and Toliver collaboration. The two songs arrive with “Quebec” and “Classic PT2,” bringing four recordings from the FOMO period into the expanded HABIBTI release.

Hear the 3-minute, 54-second “Cold Shoulder” on Spotify and Apple Music. For listeners following Drake and Yebba’s work together, it adds a three-artist chapter to a collaboration that now stretches across several releases.
