Alto Key and Luke White are teaming up for their new track entitled ‘for you’. The track is full of hope and life, with the instrumental surrounding a dynamic synth. We get a bouncy acoustic guitar line and anthemic drums drive the track forward. The duo’s respective vocal performances pair wonderfully together, both clearly feeling the passion in the lyrics. They have a contagious love and optimism in their voices that allow them to bring the same emotions out in their audience. It’s a summer anthem, with introspective lyrics and a gleaming musical sound.
For the new release, the pair say:
“We wanted to write a song for our partners. As music artists we could relate about the hardships of being musicians and the strain it puts on our relationships. Whilst it’s an upbeat summer song, the core message is very personal and a reminder that there’s more to life than being busy all the time and chasing our passions.”
Both Alto Key and Luke White have been writing and releasing music since 2018 and have both made waves in the industry with their indie pop sound. Alto Key has been able to use social media in a way no other artist has mastered, amassing 1.8M followers across his platforms, utilising challenges, viral sounds and popular songs to grow his own music. Luke has had the opportunity to perform across the UK, most notably supporting Billy Lockett and Newton Faulkner, as well as working with major labels on various projects. They’ve both received acclaim from industry tastemakers at both the BBC and Spotify.
