Swedish House Mafia are skipping the usual European tour circuit in 2027 and putting everything into four nights at Gothenburg’s Ullevi Stadium.

Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso will return to the Swedish venue on July 2, 3, 9 and 10, 2027, giving the trio two weekends to build what is shaping up to be one of their most ambitious live runs yet. There will be no accompanying European arena tour, no additional stadium dates elsewhere on the continent and no European festival appearances, leaving Gothenburg as their only European live destination for the year.

That approach makes more sense after what happened at Ullevi in 2026. Swedish House Mafia were originally scheduled to perform there on August 28, but severe weather forced the show to be cancelled. By the following day, the story had shifted completely. The group staged a free appearance at Götaplatsen in central Gothenburg before taking the stage at Ullevi that evening for their scheduled August 29 concert.

The result was the biggest show of Swedish House Mafia’s career. 65,972 people attended the sold-out performance, with promoters describing the turnout as a Nordic attendance record for an electronic music concert. For a group already accustomed to enormous festival stages and arena crowds, the Ullevi night still managed to become a new benchmark.

“Standing in the heart of Gothenburg, we felt something. The scale, the energy, the connection,” the trio said while announcing their return. Instead of attempting to recreate that atmosphere across a long run of cities, Swedish House Mafia are now leaning into the place where it happened. The 2027 production is being designed specifically around Ullevi, giving the concerts an identity tied to the stadium rather than a stage package built to travel from one venue to another.

That also changes the way fans will experience the run. Four performances across two weekends give the group room to make Gothenburg feel more like a temporary home base than another date on a tour poster. Pop-ups, dedicated fan spaces and merchandise locations are planned around the city during the concerts, extending the experience beyond the stadium and into Gothenburg itself.

Ticketing begins before the public sale. Artist presale opens September 15 at noon CEST, with registration available through the official Swedish House Mafia presale page. Registration closes September 14 at 11:59 p.m. CEST. The general sale begins September 19, 2026, through Ticketmaster, where all four Ullevi performances are listed.

There is also a separate route for people who held tickets to the cancelled August 28, 2026 concert. Those fans are being given priority access to the 2027 shows through personal Ticketmaster presale codes, offering them an earlier opportunity to return after the weather disruption that cut their original night short.

For Swedish House Mafia, the move feels less like another tour announcement and more like a decision to build an entire European moment around one location. After turning an unpredictable 2026 weekend into a record-setting homecoming, the trio are returning with four chances to push the scale even further, and this time Gothenburg is not simply part of the plan. It is the plan.
