When Ignacio Peña promises to take listeners To The Stars, he delivers more than just a song. Represented by Decent Music PR, the three-time Emmy Award–winning artist and Puerto Rican native has returned with a single that celebrates the fusion of art and science. Shimmering synths, lively horn lines, and grooves built for dance floors make the track instantly magnetic, while its deeper story expands far beyond Earth.
Peña’s lyrics honor the legacy of Carl Sagan, the astronomer whose poetic view of the cosmos still resonates today. By combining those reflections with music designed to move, Peña transforms Sagan’s cosmic humility into something both visceral and celebratory. To The Stars isn’t only a track to hear—it’s a track to feel in motion, whether under strobe lights or a starry night sky.
This spirit of collaboration makes the single even more compelling. With Joe Keys bringing brass fire, the Epoch House Choir layering in global resonance from Nigeria, and producers Isaac Sakko and Rick Moon shaping the sound in Puerto Rico, the track stands as a planetary effort. Polished by Adam Matza at Magic Ears Mastering, To The Stars beams outward as both a dance anthem and a message in a bottle, sent out to anyone who may be listening.
