Ellie Goulding turns reflection, uncertainty and dance-floor release into the driving force behind her sixth studio album, I Know Too Much.
Ellie Goulding has released I Know Too Much, her sixth studio album, arriving September 4 with 10 tracks that move between sleek pop, electronic textures and more introspective songwriting. The record follows 2023’s Higher Than Heaven and gives Goulding another space to balance the club-ready side of her sound with more personal material.
The album includes “Black Prada Dress,” “Jealousy,” “Loser,” “4 Seasons,” “Nobody Dances,” “Always Think of You,” “For Your Entertainment,” “Misremember You,” the title track and “Ravers.” That tracklist gives the project a compact shape while still letting Goulding move through different tempos and moods, something she has long made part of her pop identity.
Goulding has described the album as a way of bringing together a specific period of her life, comparing the process to journaling through music. She also tied the title to the idea that knowing too much can become its own burden, while freedom can sometimes come from accepting uncertainty.
The release arrives after a run of singles that introduced different sides of the project, including “Black Prada Dress,” “4 Seasons” and “Ravers.” Billboard first detailed the album when Goulding announced the project earlier this summer, setting up a September release for the follow-up to her previous studio era.
I Know Too Much finds Goulding looking inward without abandoning the electronic pulse that has defined much of her catalog. Across its 10 songs, the album presents a concise snapshot of where she is now, pairing polished pop production with writing centered on memory, relationships, perspective and letting go.
