Ella Langley’s Choosin’ Texas has returned to the Hot 100 summit, extending its record to 25 weeks at No. 1.

Ella Langley is extending a chart record she already owns. “Choosin’ Texas” has climbed from No. 2 back to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, giving the country crossover its 25th week at the top of the all-genre singles ranking.

The latest return puts the song three weeks ahead of Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” which has accumulated 22 weeks at No. 1. Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” and Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road,” featuring Billy Ray Cyrus, follow with 19 weeks each.

The track drew 20 million official streams, 58.6 million radio audience impressions and 4,000 sales in the United States during October 16–22. Those figures, reported by Billboard and summarized by The Bama Buzz, show the combination of listening, airplay and purchases behind the latest result.

Its run has developed over nearly a year. The single entered the Hot 100 in November 2025, reached the top 10 in January and first took No. 1 in February, growing from Langley’s fifth career entry into the defining chart achievement of her breakthrough.

The song has also played a prominent role in her awards year. “Choosin’ Texas” accounts for three of her nine CMA nominations, appearing in the Single of the Year, Song of the Year and Music Video of the Year categories.

The new milestone arrives after the single first established the all-time Hot 100 record with its 23rd week at No. 1 in September. Two additional weeks have now extended that benchmark, with the latest rebound showing that its time at the summit has continued beyond that initial record-breaking moment.
