Then there’s “One of One” featuring DJ Perry Paper. The lead single from his Timeout Mixtape introduces one of the most recognizable characters in the Eleven 11 universe: the woman who knows exactly what she does to people. The inspiration wasn’t a traditional love story.
Eleven 11 knew of the woman behind the song but never actually dealt with her romantically. Instead, he watched her move and observed the reactions she created around her. She understood her beauty, her influence and how easily attraction could become obsession. She wasn’t necessarily trying to hurt anybody… she simply knew her power. For Eleven 11, that was enough to create a story.
