Chemical Burn Unleashes Its Most Powerful Statement Yet With The Fury

More than twenty years after Chemical Burn first emerged from the California underground, The Fury marks the band’s long-awaited third studio album and its first collection of new music in over a decade. Having endured lineup changes, personal hardships, and the realities of life while staying true to the groove and thrash foundation that defined the band’s sound from the beginning, Chemical Burn returns stronger than ever with its most focused and powerful release to date.

Built on crushing riffs, massive hooks, soaring guitar work, thunderous low end, and modern production, The Fury delivers an adrenaline-fueled listening experience from start to finish. Fans of groove-driven, riff-heavy metal will find plenty to love as every song balances raw aggression with memorable melodies and an undeniable sense of purpose.

Every track draws from real experiences. The band’s journey has been shaped by personal struggles, setbacks, loss, perseverance, and moments of triumph, all of which became fuel for the songwriting process. Rather than allowing those experiences to become obstacles, Chemical Burn transformed them into the emotional core of the album.

The result is a record that balances intensity with honesty, proving that some of the heaviest music is forged through life’s greatest challenges.

Written by founder Mike Garnica, The Fury represents years of ideas, refinement, and determination, resulting in the most personal Chemical Burn album to date while marking an exciting new chapter for the band.

To help bring that vision to life, Mike reunited with longtime friend and former bandmate Andy Green, who crafted the drum arrangements and helped shape the rhythmic foundation of the record.

Producer Juan Urteaga then assembled the recording lineup by bringing in session drummer Mark Miller, whose powerful performances drive the album forward, while guitarist Kosta Varvatakis added blistering lead guitar solos that elevate every track with precision, melody, and intensity.

The album was produced, mixed, and mastered by Juan Urteaga at Trident Studios. Known throughout the heavy metal world for his work with legendary artists including Testament, Exodus, and Machine Head, Urteaga’s expertise helped shape the album’s massive modern sound while preserving the raw energy that defines Chemical Burn.

“I am incredibly proud of this album,” says founder Mike Garnica. “These songs represent years of work, perseverance, and everything I’ve experienced in life since the last album. I can’t wait for people to hear them and make them a part of their own story.”

The Fury wasn’t made to sit quietly in the background. It’s the kind of album you turn up before an intense workout, on a late-night drive, or anytime you need an adrenaline rush.

From the thunder of the rhythm section and crushing low end to explosive riffs and soaring melodies, every song was built to hit hard through a sound system that can truly do it justice.

Whether you’re a longtime Chemical Burn fan or discovering the band for the first time, The Fury delivers more than forty minutes of crushing grooves, unforgettable riffs, soaring solos, and relentless energy.

It captures the unmistakable sound of a band hitting its stride—one that has endured, evolved, and returned with its strongest statement yet.
