JISOO pairs bright pop chemistry with a haunting amusement-park fantasy in the official video for her new solo single “CLICK.”
JISOO has returned with “CLICK,” a new solo single built around a polished pop groove and the feeling of two people finding an attraction that is difficult to explain. Released on September 4, the song arrives with a cinematic visual that gives the romantic concept a darker, more fantastical setting.
The track centers on the tension between caution and chemistry, with JISOO weighing the reasons a relationship may be a bad idea against the pull she feels toward the other person. “CLICK” turns that push and pull into a sleek, immediate pop record, using its central phrase as a shorthand for two people naturally falling into place together.
That idea takes on a more imaginative shape in the Joseph Kahn-directed music video. JISOO appears as the last sentient cyborg in a theme park that has been forgotten by time, moving through abandoned attractions and carrying out her duties in an otherwise lonely environment.
Her world begins to change after she discovers a damaged robotic teddy bear and brings it back to life. Together, the pair reactivate the park and awaken its forgotten mechanical inhabitants, turning the empty setting into something increasingly alive. The visual mixes post-apocalyptic scenery, dark fairy-tale styling and vintage carnival imagery without losing the song’s playful romantic core.
The contrast is central to the video’s appeal. JISOO moves through overgrown attractions and mechanical figures in dramatic looks that range from delicate, corseted silhouettes to black lace, while the revived park gives the story a sense of warmth and connection beneath its eerie surface.
