Young Hadene Is Setting The Bar

Q: How would you describe your sound coming out of Toronto?
Young Hadene: Toronto’s got a lot of talent, but I bring my own story into it. I mix the city’s street energy with my Haitian roots, so it’s not just one vibe—it’s both. That’s what makes it stand out.

Q: You’re very hands-on with your work. Why is independence so important to you?
Young Hadene: Because I don’t want to wait on anyone. I record myself, master my own tracks, shoot my videos—everything. It’s about control and making sure the vision stays real.

Q: What kind of message do you want your music to carry?
Young Hadene: Real life. Mental health, struggle, family—things people go through but don’t always talk about. I want people to hear my music and feel understood.

Q: What’s next for you?
Young Hadene: Just leveling up. Staying consistent and building something that lasts.
