Egyptian superstar Mohamed Ramadan has signed with William Morris Endeavor (WME) for worldwide representation in all areas, marking a historic moment for Middle Eastern and North African talent entering the global entertainment industry.
The Cairo-based actor, rapper, producer and entrepreneur becomes the first Egyptian artist to join WME’s roster, positioning him for expanded opportunities across film, television, music, touring and brand partnerships as his international profile continues to grow.
Ramadan, 37, is widely regarded as one of the biggest entertainment figures in the Middle East. Known for dominating both film and television in Egypt while simultaneously building a major music career, he has cultivated a massive global audience that now exceeds 85 million followers across social media platforms, including more than 36 million on Instagram.

His rise in music has been equally impressive. In June 2020, Ramadan became the first Egyptian artist to receive YouTube’s Diamond Creator Award after surpassing 10 million subscribers on the platform. His YouTube channel has since accumulated more than 6 billion views and 6 million more subscribers, making him one of the most widely watched artists to emerge from the region.
Ramadan’s crossover appeal extends beyond digital success. In 2024, he made history by becoming the first Egyptian artist to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, placing him on one of the most influential global stages in music. His international touring footprint continues to grow, with Ramadan also set to perform at the Theater at Madison Square Garden, marking the first time an Arab artist has headlined the iconic New York venue.

While Ramadan’s music career has expanded globally, his foundation was built in Egyptian film and television. He began his career appearing in projects such as the 2006 television series The Cinderella before gaining wider recognition in acclaimed director Yousry Nasrallah’s drama Scheherazade, Tell Me a Story in 2009.
His film career continued to grow through projects including the thriller Abdu Mota and the popular action-adventure franchise The Treasure and The Treasure 2. On television, Ramadan further cemented his stardom across the Arab world through leading roles in hit dramas such as Ibn Halal, Al Ostoura, and the widely watched series Jaafar Al Omda.
Across his career, Ramadan has appeared in more than 45 Egyptian films and television series and has received Egypt’s “Greatest Nationwide Talent” award three consecutive times. He has also been honored with the prestigious Murex d’Or award for Best Arab Actor and has previously been hailed by legendary actor Omar Sharif as a potential artistic successor.
Alongside acting, Ramadan has built a parallel music career blending Arabic pop, hip-hop and Afro-influenced sounds. His 2020 collaboration “Ya Habibi” with French-Congolese rapper Gims became a major hit across the Middle East and Africa, topping charts in 15 countries. Other notable releases include “Number One,” “Mafia,” which earned top honors at the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA), and “Bum Bum.”

His growing catalog has also included collaborations with global artists such as Rema, Future and French Montana, further expanding his reach beyond the Middle East.
Most recently, Ramadan generated attention for the cross-cultural single “Sah Sah,” featuring Lara Trump, daughter-in-law of the U.S. president and former co-chair of the Republican National Committee. The collaboration stands as one of the more unexpected pairings in recent international pop music.
In film, Ramadan is also preparing for his next major role in the Arabic epic Lion, directed by Mohamed Diab, the Egyptian filmmaker who previously helmed Marvel’s Moon Knight. The film draws inspiration from the legendary rebel slave Spartacus.
With WME now representing him worldwide, Ramadan enters the next phase of his career positioned to expand his influence across global entertainment markets.
Already one of the most dominant entertainers across the Middle East and North Africa, the WME partnership signals that Mohamed Ramadan’s next chapter will unfold on an even larger international stage.
