Recently there has been a surge of fresh new talent in the hip hop community. One artist in particular sticks out of this crowd, his name is Klovis Khepri and his style is as unique as his name! Klovis Khepri’s musical journey started in 2015 while playing college football.

During his time being a student/athlete, he received a scholarship to Northeastern State University which forced him to put his music career on hold. According to Klovis, “I was trying my best to reach the NFL”. After his football career ended at 23 years old, Klovis dedicated himself to his community. It was his goal to make an impact on the culture as Huey P. Newton & Martin Luther King did, however in his own way.

Klovis Khepri’s music is composed to, “give hope and love to all communities around the world so that each person can thrive and become motivated within themselves and those around them”. Klovis Khepri has gained major support for his music and he intends on ultimately being a Grammy Nominated artist.

Klovis Khepri’s inspirations and influences come from creative artistic visions of positivity, self-worth, elevation, and self- accountability. He wants to be a voice for people with low and high self-confidence, depression, anxiety, challenges with direction in life, and those who have ambition to become successful. Klovis Khepri’s music is a new age street gospel with transparent bars and melodies.

This swagger is shown on his recent single “Lately”, a song that is a motivational anthem for everyone! In the song Khepri tells about not being worried about any haters because he’s still achieving his goals and he also touches on showing love that’s not reciprocated.
