On April 3rd, Miami-based rapper DFils (pronounced Dee- Feels) will release his debut EP ‘TEMPO’ including tracks ‘All About You featuring Jon Rise’, ‘Go Dumb featuring Simon Said. & brand new single ‘Tempo’ with REE.
DFils’ EP draws inspiration from his French-Haitian roots and infuses his music with Latin and Caribbean rhythms. His music has been compared to chart-topping artists like Lil Mosey and The Kid Laroi, thanks to his distinctive voice and catchy melodies.
The first single ‘All About’ You’, released on July 7th 2022, got amazing international support from more than 300 radios across the globe and entered German radio charts, while Revolt.TV & Trace TV playlisted the music video. The single also entered Music Week Black Music charts in the United Kingdom, cementing Dfils‘ status as a rising star in the industry.
Following this media success, DFils released ‘Racks In Safe’, a Jersey Club-inspired single which peaked #5 in UK Music Week Black Music charts and #12 in German Urban Club charts. The track is a unique blend of pop influences and Afro-American culture, arranged like an American big band.
Last November DFils toured the US visiting 6 cities across the country : Washington DC – Karma, NYC – Palladium Time Square, Atlanta – Buckhead Theater, Miami – Miami Beach Bandshell, Los Angeles – Globe Theater and Las Vegas – House of Blues.
DFils also released ‘Go Dumb’ featuring rap-star lyricist Simon Said. who previously worked for Drake, 21 Savage, Don Toliver and Stefflon Don.
The new single ‘Tempo’ has been produced by REE who previously worked with Pharrel Williams, Kanye or Justin Bieber. DFils spits Miami nightlife inspired lyrics on a upbeat rhythm. The track sets DFils at the avant-garde of the Miami rap scene, thrill guaranteed.
