8ightvibes. 8 is my angel number also means infinity horizontal which means ill be vibing forever.
Where are you from and how has that shaped your sound?
I’m from Broward County, Florida. South Florida has a Chex Mix of culture which ultimately cultivated my versatility. The ability to soften and harden your spirit with a listen.
What does your music sound like?
Beautifully tense. Sonically euphoric.
What genres influence your style?
Hiphop. R&B. Reggae. Alternative Rock.
How would you describe your voice, production, or vibe?
A dream chaser with a grounded edge
What inspires your work?
My biggest inspirations are individual growth and failure.
Any themes, personal experiences, or messages in your music?
To be authentically you! To pursue you! “All Banshees Scream Together” is a motto of flagrance and self respect. The restraining urge that’s kept in throughout your day to day to finally let yourself loose and feel what you want to feel. To achieve what you want to achieve under your own ordinance rather than somebody else’s. Like that relief of grace when you finally clock out and spark up or kick back.
Who are your musical influences?
I grew up listening to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bob Marley of course, found my own influences late elementary with Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Travis Scott and ASAP Rocky. The list goes on to Smino, j.cole, Kanye…
What have you achieved so far?
Since I’ve started taking music seriously in 2022, I’ve toured and performed in cities such as Atlanta, Miami, Los Angeles, Newark, Salt Lake City, Seattle. I’ve released 3 mixtapes – Truth, AILA, and my most recent THE BANSHEES TAPE. I’ve built my own recording studio and branded my personal record label “Swangcity Records”. I’ve sold out clubs locally with performances/ throwing my annual music festival “Vibesfest”. Which connects and displays only the best underground talents. I’ve directed several music videos and edited a few of my own. A couple even recognized by Betterdays Video display event. Also modeled in a fashion show for the brand “HIM and HERS” based in Los Angeles.
What makes you stand out?
My ability to be emotionally raw and vulgar through my music but in the snazziest way.
What’s unique about your story or creative process?
Not quite sure what’s unique about my creative process. It’s more of a private thing that’s displayed through the music. I’m just myself and no other. I don’t know what’s different about me other than me being me. And Snazzy.
What do fans often say about your music?
They say it’s one of a kind. That it’s truly felt through the vibes and lyrics. That it makes them feel things they’ve been unsure of or haven’t felt before.
What’s next for you?
I just released my latest and most proudest mixtape “ THE BANSHEES TAPE”. So music videos, brand deals, Shows featuring live bands, myself, creative Ads.
Future goals or ambitions?
I’d love to tour and open for an artist. Play at a prestigious music festival. Sell out my own show in a major city. Have one of my records take off and ultimately inspire these kids. I’d also like to blend genres and mix culture in a respectful manner. To be legendary for being myself.
