HOUSTON — Tanzanian-born rapper Louionten is continuing to build momentum in the music industry with the release of his latest single, “Intruders,” while staying focused on a long-term goal of becoming one of the best artists in the game without compromising his values.
Born Peter Louis Mdobilu in Tanzania and now based in Houston, Louionten said his journey into music has been shaped by ambition, sacrifice and perseverance. The rapper relocated to the United States in pursuit of greater opportunities, a move he describes as one of the biggest challenges he has faced in his career.
“The biggest challenge I faced was moving to America in order to make it over here doing music,” Louionten said. “I can’t say I have reached all my targets, but time will tell. My story is not over.”
The artist has already seen signs of progress. His song “Royalty” surpassed 100,000 streams on Spotify, marking a milestone that reinforced his belief in his music and growing fan base.
Louionten said his ultimate goal is to turn music into a full-time career while continuing to grow as an artist.
“I see myself doing music full time, this being my 9-to-5,” he said.
With the release of “Intruders,” Louionten hopes to bring more attention to his work and connect with a wider audience. The track represents the latest chapter in his evolving career and reflects the determination that has fueled his journey from Tanzania to Texas.
“I just want more eyes on what I got going on, especially my new single that I got out right now, ‘Intruders,’” he said.
As Louionten continues to carve out his place in hip-hop, the Houston-based rapper remains focused on authenticity, growth and proving that success can come without sacrificing integrity.
