‘Percy Jackson’ Season 3 Teaser Sends Percy Into His Darkest Quest Yet

Percy Jackson and the Olympians is raising the danger level for Season 3, with Disney+ unveiling a tense first teaser built around Annabeth’s disappearance and the looming fate of Olympus.

The new Percy Jackson Season 3 trailer offers the clearest look yet at the Disney+ series’ adaptation of Rick Riordan’s The Titan’s Curse. Disney+ debuted the footage during D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, where Walker Scobell took the stage as the show prepares to return on November 20.

The teaser finds Percy facing a more dangerous chapter after the sudden disappearance of Annabeth Chase, pushing him into a relentless search as tensions with the Titans continue to build. Disney describes the new season as larger in scale but also darker and riskier, with consequences that carry more weight than the challenges Percy and his friends faced before.

Season 3 marks the first screen adaptation of The Titan’s Curse, the third novel in Riordan’s bestselling series. The story also brings the Great Prophecy further into focus, warning that a demigod child of the “Big Three” could either lift Olympus to new heights or bring it crashing down.

The footage also introduces more of the season’s expanded mythological world, with new gods and demigods entering the conflict as Percy’s mission grows more complicated. Returning cast members include Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth, Aryan Simhadri as Grover, Charlie Bushnell as Luke, Tamara Smart as Thalia and Levi Chrisopulos as Nico di Angelo.

Walker Scobell has already warned that the third season will be the show’s darkest yet, while executive producer Craig Silverstein has said the stakes become more severe as the characters mature. That tonal shift is reflected in the teaser’s heavier atmosphere, escalating monster threats and stronger emphasis on the possibility that not everyone will make it through the coming conflict.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 premieres November 20, 2026, exclusively on Disney+. The first two seasons are currently available to stream, giving viewers time to revisit the fallout from Thalia Grace’s return before Percy’s next quest begins.
