Moves Recordings signee and MOBO-nominated Ugandan breakout Joshua Baraka returns with a blazing new remix of his viral Afrobashment smash “Morocco,” this time enlisting dancehall superstar Shenseea for a cross-continental link-up that raises the record’s global temperature even higher.
A&R’d by Dizzy Clean Face through his company We Good LLC, the collaboration bridges Afrobeats and dancehall in a way that feels both organic and explosive — pairing Baraka’s smooth East African melodies with Shenseea’s commanding Caribbean energy.
Produced by Baraka’s longtime collaborator AXON and mixed by 2x GRAMMY-winner Jae5, the original “Morocco” surged following its December 2025 release, flooding social media timelines and earning co-signs from Stormzy, French Montana, and football icon Rio Ferdinand. Already cemented as a club favorite, the track was primed for a global remix moment.
The connection came to life in Rwanda earlier this year when Shenseea invited Baraka onstage during her headline show at BK Arena. After he performed “Morocco” to a roaring crowd, the chemistry was undeniable — sparking the idea for an official remix.
On the new version, Shenseea delivers a sultry, high-energy verse before flipping the hook into a playful boy-girl call-and-response that adds a fresh dynamic without losing the original’s essence.
The remix arrives as Baraka continues his global ascent following sold-out tour dates across Africa and Europe and the viral dominance of “Wrong Places.” With more collaborations alongside Jae5 on the horizon, “Morocco (Remix)” signals an even bigger 2026 ahead.
