For singer-songwriter Snir Yamin, music was never a career decision—it was survival. Raised in Tel Aviv, he began writing songs as a quiet act of self-expression, long before he had the language to explain what he was feeling. “I didn’t choose songwriting,” he says. “It chose me.” That truth has followed him across continents, shaping a voice defined by emotional precision, cinematic intimacy, and fearless vulnerability.

Yamin’s sound today lives in the space between alt-folk storytelling and indie pop atmosphere—think the emotional honesty of Bon Iver meets the melodic finesse of Damien Rice, with the moody textures of Novo Amor. But what makes his music uniquely his own is the perspective he brings as both an Israeli and now an American artist. That duality—restless yet hopeful, weathered yet wide open—gives his songs a depth rarely found in today’s algorithm-driven landscape.

When he relocated to the United States to build his career, Yamin arrived with no safety net—no industry contacts, no backing, and no familiar language to fall back on. “I had to become my own label, my own marketer, my own producer—everything,” he says. The challenge was brutal, but it sharpened his purpose. Performing in small bars and self-producing releases from his apartment, he slowly built an international audience, eventually charting on iTunes in multiple countries and earning millions of streams from listeners who connected with his honesty.

Now, Yamin enters a bold new era with his latest single, low tide—the first release from an upcoming project that signals both sonic and personal evolution. The song is a quiet storm—minimalist, haunting, and beautifully human. “This track came after a year of unlearning and rebuilding,” he shares. “It’s about understanding that stillness isn’t the same as being lost. Sometimes the quiet moments are where we grow the most.” Built on warm acoustic textures, cinematic production, and a lyric that lingers long after the final note, low tide is Yamin at his most exposed—and most compelling.

With more releases on the way, Yamin is now focused on bringing his music to more stages across the United States while crafting a live show that mirrors the intimacy of his songwriting. His performances feel less like concerts and more like shared confessions—moments where strangers leave feeling like they’ve lived inside the same story for a while.

Snir Yamin writes songs that don’t just play—they stay. And if low tide is any indication, his quiet voice is about to make a lasting noise.
