GENEVA, NEW YORK — Rising artist Drevtw is redefining authenticity in hip-hop. Hailing from “The Bricks” in Geneva, NY, Drevtw is gaining attention for his unique approach to rap — one built on raw emotion, storytelling, and passion, all without a single curse word.

“People should listen to me because my music has no profanity,” Drevtw said. “I can entertain without any foul language. You can play me in front of your child or your mother.”

In an industry where explicit lyrics dominate, Drevtw stands out as a genuine role model. His songs reflect a young man striving to turn away from negative influences and build a better life through art. His mission is simple: stay true, stay grounded, and inspire others to do the same.

“My story is about a kid who’s choosing rap to change a bad lifestyle and calm down,” he explained. “What makes me different is how organic and nonchalant I am. I never force anything, and you can hear that in my music. I’m a real role model — no drugs, no profanity.”

Music runs deep in his family. Inspired by his mother, Neisha (JaVu), and his brother Kula, Drevtw was surrounded by creativity from a young age. Though he’s only recently begun releasing music, his momentum is growing fast.

“I haven’t been rapping for long. I’ve got no awards and no major accomplishments yet,” he said. “But that’s never slowed me down. The real challenge isn’t writing—it’s staying out of trouble and finding the passion to record and release. I’m working on it and getting better every day.”

This year marks a turning point for Drevtw, who’s already released two songs in 2025 — a personal record. His next goal? A “fire” new music video dropping this November, which he says will showcase a new level of focus and artistic growth.

“I see myself somewhere turning up with my fans, drama-free, living life,” he said. “My dream is to be on stage, the DJ cuts the beat, and the whole crowd still knows every lyric. That’s what I’m chasing.”

With a growing fanbase and a reputation for authenticity, Drevtw is proving that clean rap can still hit hard — and make a lasting impact.
