BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Rising musician One Take is turning heads in the Northeast hip-hop scene with his latest release, “That N***a From CT (Freestyle)”. Known for his raw storytelling and unfiltered energy, the Bridgeport native is determined to bring his city into the spotlight while building a global fan base.
Coming from a music-oriented family, One Take says his path was always meant to lead toward the stage. “I want to be heard by the people because I know my stories and energy could and will help people across the world,” he said. “We all go through the same 365 days a year, and my lyrics paint an image for people who aren’t in my position.”
Though early in his career, One Take has already earned recognition in his hometown and even received a co-sign from DDG. The journey hasn’t been without struggle—balancing creativity with life’s hardships has tested him—but the artist says adversity only sharpened his focus.
“I make music based on my feelings and the people or things around me,” he explained. “Even when it wasn’t looking too right, I knew this was bigger than me. I must do what I was destined for.”
Looking ahead, One Take envisions himself on the biggest stages, not only performing but also expanding into film and production. For now, his focus remains on connecting with listeners and shining light on Bridgeport’s untapped talent.
