Detroit native C0UNTLE$$ (real name Claude Alexander Bonds III) returns with his latest single “Make It Out Alive,” released on June 27th, blending the pulse of house music with emotional storytelling and a genre-defying edge.
Far more than a party track, “Make It Out Alive” carries a deeper message that listeners might not catch at first listen. Beneath the infectious dance and house rhythms lies a theme of survival and perseverance—an anthem for anyone who’s fought to push through adversity and find their light.
“This song is universal,” says C0UNTLE$$. “It’s got that energy to move a crowd, but there’s meaning underneath it all. It’s about more than just the vibe—it’s about making it through, even when the odds are against you.”
Fresh off a feature in the Detroit Metro Times, C0UNTLE$$ is quickly becoming one of the Motor City’s most dynamic rising voices. With a sound that refuses to be boxed in, he’s showing the world that Detroit artists aren’t just gritty—they’re versatile, emotional, and electric.
